Our feline friends are special.  They require special care, special medicine, and special understanding.  Cats are curious, this much is known.  However, some owners are surprised at just how curious cats can become.  This is why it is essential that you "cat proof" your home to ensure that your feline companion is safe even when it is mischievous.

Cats have specific health concerns.  Hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, heart disease, and liver disease.  It is important that owners with cats that have these diseases, understand the treatment and concerns associated with them.  For your cat to have the best chance at recovery and longevity, it is important that cat owners educate themselves as they are the most integral part of the treatment team.
